Phonics and Reading Workshops

Reading is a vital life skill and is therefore a priority for all children. Being a fluent reader with good understanding positively impacts your child academically and emotionally. We expect all children to read at home at least three times per week and for this to be recorded in Reading Records. In Reception and KS1 adults will write in Reading Records and in KS2 parents and/ or children can write in them.

Please use the following links to learn more about how to support your child to learn to read. If you require more individualised support then do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher.
