Rights Respecting

We are currently working towards re-accrediting with the Silver Award from UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools programme. Taking part in the RRSA means that your children will be taught all about their rights, as set out by the UN in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Children’s rights are at the heart of all the work we do, and this comes through in our teaching every day. The RRSA helps children find their voice in standing up for themselves and others in unfair situations, and also inspires children to take an active role in their communities where they see things they feel need to change. Over the next few terms, we will be working alongside the children to provide practical, inspiring opportunities to take this even further.
